A massive brawl broke out between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Buffalo Sabres, resulting in a 10-player ejection.
The Buffalo Sabres and Toronto Maple Leafs were set to play an Atlantic Division matchup tonight at KeyBank Center in what was expected to be a relatively tame game of hockey. Much to the surprise of fans in the crowd, a massive brawl broke out between the two teams in the last five minutes of the game.

This fight seems to be a response to a suspicious hit from Rasmus Dahlin on TJ Brodie. After the brawl had settled down, all involved parties were ejected. Among the ten players sent to the locker room were Auston Matthews, who scored his 60th goal of the season, and Dahlin, who received an additional two-minute penalty for the trip that started it all.
When the game finished, the Toronto Maple Leafs had defeated the Buffalo Sabres 3-0. They are now at 10th and 23rd in the league overall respectively.
