Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch provides an update on Brett Kulak

During his post-game press conference, Edmonton Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch was asked about how Brett Kulak was doing. According to the Oilers bench boss, Brett Kulak is doing well and things are not as bad as initially feared.

Oilers coach Kris Knoblauch said Brett Kulak appears to be OK but will be re-evaluated later today & tomorrow. Kulak will join the team on their upcoming two-game road trip, he added.

Kulak was hit in head with a puck in his first shift and was limited to 49 seconds of ice time.

Despite the unfortunate incident from today's game the availability and health of Brett Kulak for the playoffs is most important. It sounds as though he will be good to go by then and be able to try and help this Edmonton Oilers group finally lift the Stanley Cup.
