A lot of people had doubts about Eichel when he was traded to Vegas after being injured for so long. Recently he shared his thoughts about his haters.

Prving them Wrong

Eichel was drafted by Buffalo back in 2015, but was never able to bring the Sabres back into contention. After sustaining a neck injury, his frustration with the club escalated as they wouldn't approve a higher technology surgery that he wanted.

In a recent interview with Pierre LeBrun, Eichel had this to say about the people who doubted him.

If I were going to sit here and tell you it didn't feel good to shut a lot of people up or prove them wrong, I'd be lying.

Eichel Fans Rejoice

Eichel seemed to have found his groove in Vegas, coming off a solid season that saw him score 27 goals and 39 assists in 67 games. In the playoffs, Eichel recorded 26 points in 22 games played on their way to winning the Stanley Cup.

Eichel now sports a resume which includes being the number 1 center on a Stanley Cup-winning team. His reputation before he got to Vegas, whatever people may think it was, has been arguably completely erased. A new Jack Eichel has emerged.
