RUMOR: The Sabres Will Acquire A Bigtime Goalie This Weekend?
The Buffalo Sabres could be making some serious changes between the pipes coming into the 23-24 season. Rumors are circulating, saying that a source close to the team has indicated that the Sabres are looking to make a big acquisition as soon as this weekend.
Connor Hellebuyck
It's well known at this point that Connor Hellebuyck has no interest in signing a long-term deal to stay with the Jets, according to The Athletic's Murat Ates.
"And there should be no confusion about whether Hellebuyck has interest in signing an extension in Winnipeg. That ship has sailed. His next contract will be with a new team," reported Ates
Hellebuyck is certainly a future Hall of Famer, but is Buffalo somewhere he wants to play?
