Colorado Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar has confirmed some bad news regarding one of their key players.
Bednar Provides an Update on Francouz
The Avalanche's goaltender sustained an injury during the training camp and has remained sidelined since the start of the season.
Bednar has offered an update on the goalie's condition:

It seems that the Colorado Avalanche will have little choice but to heavily depend on Alexandar Georgiev for the majority of their games.
He has already played in all of the Avs' games this season and has demonstrated his capability to handle the position.
He boasts an impressive 4-0 record, a remarkable 0.98 GAA, and an outstanding .965 SV%.
If he maintains this level of performance, he could potentially lead Colorado to one of their most successful seasons yet.
