Former Oilers Destroy Jack Campbell On Social Media

After his performance yesterday Jack Campbell faced significant backlash and criticism for his play. This included a former Edmonton Oiler defenseman.

After a tough game in prime time against the Philadelphia Flyers, Oilers goaltender Jack Campbell faced a lot of criticism. Especially from former Oiler and current Spittin Chiclets co-host Ryan Whitney.

Whitney was critical of Campbell's play and has been critical of other players in the past. He was not the only person to lay the blame for the loss on Campbell last night though.

For whoever says that 3rd goal is on the defence, no it is not. That's a simple wrist shot by a simple player on a goalie with no screen. That is 100% on Jack Campbell. McDavid made the giveaway but that's when you rely on your goalie when you are on a PP.

Campbell has been one of the weakest points in the Oilers lineup this season. As a whole the team has struggled to string together wins.

If they are going to get back to being Stanley Cup contenders they will need to improve in all facets of the game.
