We have some news hot off the regarding the Calgary Flames and one of their forwards.
During their recent matchup against the Seattle Kraken, Flames forward Martin Pospisil found himself in hot water after delivering a dangerous hit to Kraken defenseman Vince Dunn. The hit was deemed to be boarding, which led to Pospisil's ejection from the game.
Following his ejection, Pospisil was called in for a hearing with the Department of Player Safety to address the incident. After careful consideration, it was decided that Pospisil would be suspended for a total of three games as a consequence of his actions.
With Pospisil out of the lineup, the Flames will have to adjust their game plan for the next few matchups. This could mean some younger players getting the opportunity to step up and showcase their skills on the ice.
