It appears that the Vegas Golden Knights and the Calgary Flames have pulled off a blockbuster deal regarding one of their top trade chips.
Hanifin traded to Vegas
On air, Elliotte Friedman announced that the Vegas Golden Knights have acquired Noah Hanifin from the Calgary Flames. Hanifin and Vegas haven't been linked throughout the process, but steam has picked up over the last few hours, leading to the trade.
It is also believed that the trade will come with an extension, keeping Hanifin in Vegas long term.
