Major update regarding Linus Ullmark ahead of deadline

The Boston Bruins have been involved in much chatter ahead of the trade deadline, but are yet to make a move. According to one Insider however, things are about to change.

Linus Ullmark drawing plenty of interest on the trade market

The Boston Bruins are in with a shot at making a deep Stanley Cup run in 2023-24, and if they are to do so, some have looked at their goaltender situation as a way to improve their roster.

According to Pierre LeBrun, there may be fire where there is smoke around star goaltender Linus Ullmark, who continues drawing trade interest ahead of Friday's deadline, and if the reports are true, they may finally be open to moving him.

Devils goalie options: preferred route is still to get Markstrom out of Calgary, or does an Ullmark trade with Boston make sense. If that can't be, then wait until summer to fix the net but in meantime, maybe a stopgap measure. Rental Kevin Lankinen in Nash as an option?

The obvious trade candidate is the New Jersey Devils, and while they would prefer to land Jacob Markstrom, if they can't work out a deal with the Flames, they may circle back to Ullmark.

The Bruins have remained steadfast in their belief that the star goaltending duo can win them a Stanley Cup, but with a major need in their forward group, they may be persuaded to change their minds.
