Chris Johnston reported on X:
"Chicago Wolves head coach Bob Nardella has been suspended 10 games by @TheAHL for directing homophobic language at an official during a game on Saturday."
Considering homophobia has no place anywhere, including in sports, this decision makes sense, but if he does it again, let's hope consequences will be much bigger.
"In a press release, the AHL says it "is committed to building a culture that is safe, inclusive and free from abuse, harassment and all forms of unethical behavior or misconduct."
Nardella can participate in non-game day practices and return to the Wolves bench on Jan. 6."
More details are expected to be released concerning the incident.
