A chaotic incident unfolded during a Junior Hockey game in Ontario, where one player assaulted another in a dirty play that resulted in a suspension.

Player Assaults Opponent in GOJHL Game

While fights occasionally occur in junior hockey, characterizing what transpired during this particular junior hockey game as a "fight" seems inappropriate, as it looked more like an assault.
During a GOJHL game between the Fort Erie Meteors and the Port Colborne Sailors, a Sailors player became visibly angry following an incident in the corner. In an unexpected move, he jumped on him and started to relentlessly punhing him.
This will be more than a few.... 😳

Player Receives Four-Game Suspension

As a result of this incident, the player in question has been handed a four-game suspension for "intent to injure".
UPDATE: Doyle has received a four game suspension for Intent To Injure.
Junior leagues always say they want to ban fighting, but giving only four games for assaulting a player doesn't seem like a big punishment enough.
Do you think the player should've been suspended longer than four games?
