The Most Underrated Trade Deadline Addition for the Winnipeg Jets Revealed

With the trade deadline approaching, the Winnipeg Jets are likely going to try and shore up their roster. This player has just been revealed as the Jets' most underrated deadline pickup.

Looking back on recent trade deadline pickup successes could be a way to stay optimistic for the Jets as they approach the deadline this year. One standout pickup that the Jets had at the deadline who goes under the radar is Lee Stempniak.

Stempniak was a Jet for just 18 games in the regular season, however, he was able to immediately contribute to the team, recording 10 points for the club.

Stempniak is also remembered fondly as a Jet because of his massive goal in the 2015 NHL playoffs at home versus the Anaheim Ducks, the first in 19 years.

With the Jets at the top of the Central Division, they will be looking to add their next Lee Stempniak in a potential push for the cup this year.
