BREAKING: Winnipeg Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff Officially Makes NHL History

After the Winnipeg Jets took down the rival Vancouver Canucks in a 4-2 victory, GM Kevin Cheveldayoff officially reached a mark that very few others have reached: 500 wins as the GM of an NHL team.

Cheveldayoff is only the 35th GM to win 500 games and one of the very few to do so in under 1000 games with only one franchise. Cheveldayoff sits at 5th amongst active GMs in wins behind Lou Lamoriello (NYI), Ken Holland (EDM), Doug Armstrong (STL), and Don Waddell (CAR).

As the years continue, Cheveldayoff will have the opportunity to climb further up this list and could potentially become one of the most successful GM's of all time!
