Tonight Josh Morrissey was on the giving end of a slap shot that ended in terrible pain and misfortune for Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand.
Morrissey Nails Marchand's Jewels With A Slap Shot
During the matchup between the Winnipeg Jets and Boston Bruins, the Jets went to a powerplay. As a result, Josh Morrissey was running the point. He loaded up for a massive slap shot when Bruins captain Brad Marchand came in to block the shot. Unfortunately for Marchand when he blocked it he got hit in an extremely sensitive area.
Brad Marchand would go to the bench in a world of pain but tough it out and continue playing. He and the Bruins would get the last laugh as they would go on to win 4-1 with Marchand registering a goal.
