The Department of Player Safety reached a verdict concerning an incident that occured on Saturday night's game between the St. Louis Blues and the Nashville Predators.

Goaltender Jordan Binnington Gets Fined by the NHL For High Stick on Predators' Luke Evangelista

The goalie Jordan Binnington is involved in another controversy for something that he did during a game.
Against the Predators, he hit Luke Evangelista in his face with his stick.
Here's what happened:
The NHL's Department of Player Safety released an official ruling on the incident earlier today.
Binnington will need to pay a $5,000 fine:
"St. Louis' Jordan Binnington has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for high-sticking Nashville's Luke Evangelista."
