Sid the Kid isn't going anywhere. Despite other teams interests in Sidney Crosby as the NHL trade deadline looms. According to NHL insider Frank Seravalli, the Pittsburgh Penguins are looking to lock Crosby in for the long haul with a juicy contract extension.

According to Frank Seravalli, It seems like Crosby is keen on staying in Pittsburgh for the rest of his career. There's talk that he might even take a bit of a pay cut to make it happen, considering he's currently the highest-paid player in the league. Yet, before they seal the deal with Crosby, the Penguins need to sort out the future of Jake Guentzel. So, while there might be some changes ahead, at least fans can count on seeing Crosby in black and gold for years to come.
