Artemi Panarin rocks TJ Oshie open-ice and sends him down the tunnel

During game 2 of the first round series between the Rangers and Capitals, Artemi Panarin surprised many people by throwing a massive hit on TJ Oshie.

While Panarin is not normally a heavy hitter, this play was certainly an exception. It looks as though Oshie was caught pretty high and the league may look into the play.

You've also got to believe that the Capitals will be looking for some payback from this one as the series progresses. There is surely some exciting games ahead.

The Rangers took the game 4-3 and have taken a commanding 2-0 lead in the series.
