The Edmonton Oilers are getting support from all across Canada in their Stanley Cup Final fight against the Florida Panthers, including a surprising endorsement from Toronto Maple Leafs Captain John Tavares.
With the Leafs long out of the playoffs, Tavares shared his thoughts on the Cup Final at a recent red carpet event, expressing support for the Oilers.

Obviously being down 3-0 is very, very hard, especially against a team like Florida. But not only did they win, they won convincingly, played really well. So, obviously it's going to give them some belief. All you do is you go out there, play the game, give it everything you've got, and see what happens.
