Oilers Defenseman Injured in End Of Game Scrum Against the Minnesota Wild

As the Oilers-Wild game ended last night, tempers boiled over and all hell broke loose as the two teams engaged in a massive scrum. Fights broke out in a full out line brawl, with Oilers Defenseman getting the worst end of it all, leaving the ice bloodied and cut.

The brawl started after the Wild players continued to crash the net as the game ended, taking potentially one too many liberties that the Oilers players didn't appreciate.

The Oilers seem to get over their disastrous start this season, as they just tallied on their sixth win in a row against the Wild. The question is whether this will be too little too late, or if it happened with enough time for the Oilers to make a meaningful push into the latter part of the season.
