The Edmonton Oilers are doing everything possible to try and turn their season around. It was widely speculated that Ken Holland was looking to trade Jack Campbell after he was sent to the minors. However, now things are looking to be different, as Elliotte Friedman has revealed what Holland has said to Campbell to call him back up to the Oilers.
Friedman says that Campbell's return is based on performance and staying healthy, which he has done. In the 3 games prior to last night, he had some pretty successful performances, including a shutout win.
However, Campbell did show signs of struggle during last night's win against the Texas Stars. While the Condors came out with the win, Campbell let in 4 goals, and looked a touch shakey during the game, sparking some hesitancy from fans on the Oilers plans to bring him back.
