2023 1st overall pick Connor Bedard has shared his true thoughts on the Edmonton Oilers and how good they are.

Bedard Reveals His True Thoughts

Tonight the Edmonton Oilers are set to face off against the Chicago Blackhawks and Connor Bedard for the very first time this season. In an interview earlier today, Bedard shared his true thoughts on the Oilers.

«I thought it was pretty funny the first 10 games of the season seeing people freak out. They've been one of the best teams in the league the past few years. I don't think it is a surprise that they are doing what they are doing now,» - Connor Bedard on the Edmonton Oilers

It seems clear that Bedard had faith in the Oilers all along despite their slow start to the season.

Oilers Set To Face A Depleted Blackhawks Roster

The Blackhawks will be playing quite shorthanded tonight as they will be without much of the talent they entered the year with. Corey Perry has had his contract terminated and Taylor Hall is out with a season-ending injury. On the defensive side, the Blackhawks will be without two of their top defenseman: Seth Jones and Kevin Korchinski.

Seth Jones is not on the trip. Got "jammed up" last game. So no Korchinski and no Jones against McDavid, Draisaitl and the Oilers.

The Oilers are heavy favorites heading into tonight but there is always a chance they lose as the NHL is filled to the brim with talent that can win on any given night.
