When the Oilers signed Evander Kane, they knew the personal baggage that came along with him. Now, that baggage is coming back up to the forefront, as Kane's ex-wife Anna Kane has taken to social media to give an eerie warning to fans about some upcoming release of information.
Anna Kane is likely referring to the legal proceedings that the two are undergoing, and that more details are going to be released soon. It is hard to know her intentions of posting this to social media, other than to potentially get Evander Kane's attention.
She also took a shot at Oilers fans who continue to harass her for the drama between her and Evander Kane.
Oilers Need Kane Focussed if They Want to Turn Season Around
Despite the Oilers terrible start this year, Evander Kane has been able to contribute and pull his weight. Kane has 20 points in 22 games so far this year, on pace for a career-record year.
Evander Kane leads the NHL in hits and has 11 goals in 21 games played for 20 points. That's a guy you want on your team!
The Oilers need the continued production from Kane if they want a chance at even making the playoffs, and hopefully, for them, that means keeping his personal life away from the rink.
