Patrik Laine entered the Player Assistance Program at the end of January and one of his teammate made an incredible gesture that we thought was worth mentionning.

Once again this season, Laine had decided to donate $1000 for every point he would score with the Blue Jackets.

After Laine joined the Player Assistance Program, his friend and teammate Johnny Gaudreau decided that he would pick up his initiative.

In a recent interview, he explained why he made that decision.

Here's what he said:

"We miss Patty in the locker room. We miss seeing him around the rink and have him around the rink. So, when I saw he was doing that at the start of the season, I thought it was awesome. He thought it was for a great cause.

And then he happened to have to go into the program, kind of deal with stuff like that. So, thought what better way to kind of support him is kind of pick up from where he left off and try to help out this any way I can. So, like I said, we miss Patty and we hope he's doing well, and we hope to see him back soon."

Laine, in 18 games this season, scored nine points, including six goals.

With 30 games remaining, how many points do you think Gaudreau will score before the end of the season?
