During the previous summer, a memorable incident unfolded involving Tyler Toffoli and Adam Fantilli, who were proudly representing Team Canada in the World Championships.

The tournament was a special chance for numerous players, offering them the opportunity to extend their playing time beyond their respective teams' eliminations.


Amidst the tournament's intense matches, a comical episode emerged involving Fantilli and the seasoned veterans. Tyler Toffoli graciously recounted this anecdote:


While it's possible Fantilli might have been nursing a touch of soreness, what truly sparked hilarity was the veterans' unexpected reaction to his decision to indulge in a massage.

Fantilli's Potential

Fantilli was widely regarded as the 2nd best prospect of the 2022 draft and is considered to be a prospect of similar caliber to Jack Eichel. Fantilli possesses a unique blend of size and skill and has the capability to be a top-10 player in the NHL.

Last season with the University of Michigan, Fantilli tore the NCAA apart posting 65 points with 30 being goals in 36 games. His international play was not as strong with only 5 points in 7 WJC games and 3 points in 10 WC games.

Despite lacklusted numbers internationally, Fantilli took home two gold medals. Doing this all as an 18-year-old is quite impressive and gives many the belief that Fantilli is the savior the Columbus Blue Jackets need.
