Mark Recchi Joins The Blue Jackets



The Columbus Blue Jackets have just announced that Mark Recchi is now their assistant coach, working alongside Head Coach Pascal Vincent.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have added Mark Recchi to Head Coach Pascal Vincent's staff as an assistant coach.




During his impressive NHL career, Mark Recchi played over 1600 games and scored over 1500 points. Now, he's moving from playing on the ice to coaching behind the bench which he has done previously in New Jersey and Pittsburgh. His main job will be to help the Blue Jackets powerplay.

Mark Recchi retired from playing NHL hockey in 2011 and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2017. With his vast experience and respected reputation in the hockey world, he's all set to share valuable insights and tips with his players.

A figure like Recchi will be a phenomenal example for the young Blue Jackets roster looking to make the playoffs yet again.
