Chants From Chicago Fans Show Their Faith In Connor Bedard

The Chicago Blackhawks won the lottery this past summer, and the result was a generational prospect in Connor Bedard, and thus far, the fans are clearly in his corner.

We want the Cup

During their latest pre-season win over the Detroit Red Wings, the Blackhawks fans lit up the United Center with chants of 'We Want the Cup', showing their faith in their young star.



During the pre-season thus far, Bedard has shown how elusive, talented and downright electric he can be, and if his teammates continue to grow around him, this is a team that will be fun to watch all season long.

Pressure on the rookie

While his pre-season showings have been positive, the amount of pressure on the young star is unmatched, but given what we've seen from him leading into his NHL career, it's safe to say he's going to bring the fun to the ice.


Ultimately though, the Blackhawks are still a long, long way away from the Stanley Cup, as the team around Bedard is no where near complete, but as long as the young star continues to develop, he'll certainly attract stars around him.
