The NHL off-season is just days away, and with free agency approaching, one insider has predicted Calgary and Edmonton will do battle off the ice this summer too.

The Edmonton Oilers have the chance to force the Stanley Cup Finals to a Game 7 on Friday, but with the off-season approaching, the focus for many players and fans has already shifted to the draft and free agency. This process has sped up after some blockbuster trades in recent times, and it's only expected to get more thrilling over the coming months.
One storyline to watch is the free agency status of Jake DeBrusk, who is drawing plenty of interest from his home province of Alberta.
The only issue with that is there is two teams out there, who happen to be the most bitter of rivals, and if push come to shove, NHL Insider Frank Seravalli believes that Calgary would come out on top over the Edmonton Oilers in any bidding war for DeBrusk.
It's unclear which other teams at this point are interested in DeBrusk, but right now his market at home is hot, and if he intends to return to Alberta, expect to see both teams go hard after his signature.
