The Candiens and the Sabres have agreed on the terms of a trade.

Montreal received Filip Cederqvist for future considerations.



Filip Cederqvist, a 23 years old forward was drafted by the Sabres at the143th overall pick in 2019.

He plays in the AHL, with the Rochester Americans. After scoring 20 points last year, the Swedish tallied four points in 19 games this season.

He will likely join the Laval Rocket, playing with some of the organization's top prospects, like Joshua Roy and Sean Farrell.
