There have been growing concerns in the soccer world regarding players diving and faking injuries, and one Canadian NHL broadcaster has seen enough.

Gord MIller, a famous NHL broadcaster, is fed up with all of the injury faking and theatrical performances that are being seen in soccer as of late. He took to instagram to call out Argentinian midfielder Rodrigo de Paul, claiming he put on a Broadway performance on the field while playing Canada during the Copa America semi-final.

The amount of diving and acting during soccer games has been really increasing over the years, as FIFA has not really stepped in to try and put a stop to it. Players will do whatever it takes to try and catch the attention of the match referee, hoping he will give either a yellow or red card to the opposing player. Last night was no exception when Canada faced Argentina.

Miller isn't the only one extremely upset with Argentina, as fans of the game have been taking to the internet to voice their opinions on how they believe FIFA can help stop all of the diving:
FIFA should really implement what MLS has done when a player is "injured". If they remain on the ground for more than 15 seconds they have to exit the field following treatment and stay off for a minimum of 2 minutes until the next stoppage in play. It's made a noticeable difference in MLS matches.

Many people are hoping that something urgent can be done by FIFA to fix what has become a huge distraction in the lovely game of soccer, and Gord Miller is hopeful his voice will get the ball rolling, no pun intended, on this.
