Former Soo Greyhounds Goaltender Suing Team for Mishandling Injury and Derogatory Slurs

Hockey culture is in the middle of a much-needed change, and part of that is holding those who perpetuate and participate in bad cultural accountable for their actions. That is exactly what former Soo Greyhounds Goaltender Tucker Tynan is doing, alleging that team officials pressured him to play through injury and called him derogatory slurs.
Former Soo Greyhounds goalie Tucker Tynan is suing the OHL team, alleging officials mishandled his shoulder injury, insulted him with derogatory slurs, advised him to self-medicate for pain and pressured him to play through the injury:
The allegations have not been tested in court, and the Greyhounds have not filed a response to the lawsuit. They have made a statement, stating that they will defend the organization against the allegations made.
