Scary Scene As Period Ends Early After Forward Suffers Unknown Injury

Late in the first period during last night's game between the Blue Jackets and the Maple Leafs, forward Sean Kuraly was injured leaving fans horrified.

Last night Sean Kuraly was at the center of a massive collision that left him laboring. The Blue Jackets forward rushed off the ice and headed straight for the medical room. Paramedics rushed to help Kuraly out as well and the referees decided it was best to end the period early.

UPDATE: #CBJ F Sean Kuraly was injured late in the 1st period of tonight's game vs. Toronto. Medical personnel were alerted as a precaution. He is currently being evaluated at the arena.

Whenever an injury like this happens and everybody is left in the dark, you can only hope things are not as bad as they seem. We are still awaiting word on what the injury is officially but thankfully Kuraly will be able to pull through.
