During last night's Avalanche-Kraken game, Artturi Lehkonen was skating after a puck deep in the Kraken zone when he was slightly upended by Jamie Oleksiak. The hit sent Lehkonen barrelling into the boards head first, and was a scary sight for fans in Denver. Luckily, Lehkonen was able to get up and skate off on his own.
Lehkonen is coming off a breakout season where he scored 51 points in 64 games, 21 of those being goals. So far this season, he has recorded 3 goals and 5 assists for 8 points in 12 games. The young forward has been able to find a rhythm with the Avalanche's top guns Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen.
