image

The Edmonton Oilers continue to fall in the standings as their disappointing season persists with a loss to the San Jose Sharks.
Edmonton now holds a dismal record of 2-9-1. Another defeat in their next game could see them sharing the NHL's last position.
Many changes are expected to happen in the Oilers organization, with the first big one to potentially involve a coaching change.
After the tough loss in San Jose, a disheartened Woodcroft was captured on camera walking off the ice toward the locker room, seemingly accepting his fate.
As Jay Woodcroft and Dave Manson walk off the ice after the Oilers' loss to San Jose, Woodcroft appears to say "That might be it" to Manson, who appears to respond with "yup."
