Belarusian Hockey Player Arrested In The Middle Of A Game

Hockey has had a lot of surprising things happen during games. A player getting arrested is one of those many surprising things that has now happened.

American Hockey League Has Chaos Break Loose

Yesterday, a player was arrested during a North American Hockey League (NAHL) game. The game started out normal just as any other NAHL game would. Then during the first intermission chaos ensued because of one particular player.
According to reports during a game between the New Hampshire Mountain Kings and Johnstown Tomahawks defenseman Yahor Ramanau was arrested due to crimes with a vehicle.

Belarusian Hockey Player Arrested

The arrest reportedly took place during the first intermission of a game.
During the first intermission of Sunday's NAHL game at the Johnstown Tomahawks, New Hampshire Mountain Kings defenseman Yahor Ramanau was removed from 1st Summit Arena @ Cambria County War Memorial and arrested by Johnstown Police due to an outstanding warrant in New Kensington, according to the Tomahawks front office.

The warrant was issued two years ago when the 20-year-old Belarus native played for the Esmark Stars in Pittsburgh. He was charged with aggravated assault by vehicle.
Ramanau was playing for the Esmark Stars in Pittsburgh when the original crime happened. He will now have to defend himself in a court of law before he can get back to playing defense on the ice.
