Winnipeg Jets Playoff clinching scenario revealed

While some were disappointing with the Winnipeg Jets summer, they ended strong by inking two veterans Mark Scheifele and Connor Hellebuyck to long-term extensions, and the good times have continued rolling since then. They may not have much momentum on their side as of late, but the Jets have done enough to be a force to be reckoned with in the Central Division, and now, it could become official as soon as tonight.

The Winnipeg Jets can officially clinch a playoff spot with three different scenarios; a victory over Calgary tonight, picking up a point vs. Calgary and a Blues loss to the Nashville Predators or Minnesota losing to Colorado and a regulation loss by the Blues.

With three weeks to go until the playoffs, it is inevitable that this team will make it official, but after losses in six of their past seven games, perhaps a win over the Flames and clinching a playoff spot will help kick-start momentum for this deep team ahead of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
