At this time of year, seemingly everyone in the NHL is banged up, but with the playoffs just weeks away now, teams need to get healthy before pushing for the Stanley Cup. One team that's dealt with plenty of injuries is the Winnipeg Jets, but on Thursday, more concern arose as Captain Adam Lowry remained off the ice for his third consecutive practice.
Still, given the injuries to the likes of Gabe Vilardi, Kyle Connor and so many other Jets throughout the year, it's fair to be concerned when the captain is absent from three straight practices. Beyond Lowry, good news for Logan Stanley who was back on the ice after suffering a recent illness, and with Colin Miller looking to slide back into the lineup on Thursday, the Jets are showing off their stellar depth.
With Lowry missing another practice, Jets fans will be concerned for him moving forward, but if he can get back on the ice ahead of the playoffs, the Jets will certainly be a team to watch in the Western Conference.
