Jets fans in shock by what Connor Hellebuyck said during interview

Recently Connor Hellebuyck spoke for the last time before heading out of town for the summer. During his remarks, he spoke about his level of play and the direction of the team heading into next season.

Connor Hellebuyck had a disappointing playoff by all accounts against the Colorado Avalanche. Looking at the stats he struggled mightily particularly compared to his excellent regular season success. During a recent interview, Connor Hellebuyck says he felt he played well despite the amount of pucks that got past him.

The disappointing end to the season for the Winnipeg Jets has become an all too familiar reality for this core group. Despite the consistent lack of playoff success Connor Hellebuyck admits he hopes this series loss opens some eyes within the organization.

#NHLJets Connor Hellebuyck says he «hopes this is the final learning curve» for a group that has now been schooled several times in the playoffs.

«Hopefully this series opened our eyes to the last piece of the puzzle needed to go on a long run.»
