While no one expected it, the Winnipeg Jets have been fantastic through the first three months of the season, and they now find themselves in a spot to be major buyers at the trade deadline.

Where do the Jets need to upgrade to this current squad?

The Jets are flying high thus far, posting a 26-9-4 record on the season, and with a very deep, talented, balanced squad, they will no doubt have their eyes on the Stanley Cup.
However, this team isn't perfect, and they will need to find another centre or a winger to upgrade this team, and with Kyle Connor expected back, if they can land another top name, this team will become arguably the favourite out West.

Who will Winnipeg target at the trade deadline?

We've already seen the Jets connected to several players ahead of the trade deadline, and now a Jets publication has revealed their top-10 trade targets as the trade deadline nears.
Centres
Elias Lindholm CGY
Steven Stamkos TBL
Sean Monohan MTL
Jason Dickinson CHI
Adam Henrique ANA

Wingers
Jordan Eberle SEA
Travis Konecny PHI
Anthony Duclair SJS
Vladimir Tarasenko OTT
David Perron DET

Given the biggest need is for a 2C, Lindholm and Monahan are arguably the most affordable options for Winnipeg, but if they can get themselves any of those centres to add to a group with Adam Lowry, Mark Scheifele and Vlad Namestnikov, this team will be tough for anyone to stop.
