A top prospect of the Winnipeg Jets, who is just coming off a seasons where he won Goaltender of the Year, is going to miss some time as he continues his development in the Ontario Hockey League.

Needed Help Off the Ice

Dom DiVincentiis, who took part in the team's training camp back in September, could not get off the ice by himself during the North Bay Battalion's last game on Sunday. He appeared to be favouring his left leg. The team has since announced he's week-to-week.

"Goaltender Dom DiVincentiis was helped off the ice Sunday and went for X-rays, which were negative. He is out on a week-to-week basis, Head Coach Ryan Oulahen announced Tuesday. - North Bay Battalion"

Playing Through Something?

After putting up a stellar 36-9-1 record in 2022-23, DiVincentiis is 5-4-0 to start to start 2023-24 is save percentage (0.892) is down from last year, while his goals against average (2.98) is up. It makes you wonder whether he might have been at least a bit sore somewhere before getting injured Sunday.
