Many NHL teams will try to secretly send scouts to other teams games in order to look at players they may be willing to trade for. The Jets have just been caught doing that.

The Flyers are in the midst of a rebuild and willing to part ways with many of their older players.

There are a few options that the Jets could be looking at that could make sense with their team.

The couple names that have be thrown around for the Flyers are defensemen, Rasmus Ristolainen and Nick Seeler both players would be beneficial to the Jets lineup.

The Jets have been plagued as a team with defensive woes for the past couple of years, bolstering their defensive has been their focus for a bit of time now.

Despite a strong the start to their defensive core this year, the addition of another NHL defenseman would be ideal for the team to solidify themselves as playoff contenders in the Western conference.
