NHL Insider Reveals The Boston Bruins Could Trade One Of Their Top Goalies To The Edmonton Oilers

A new report from an NHL insider has suggested that the Boston Bruins could be comfortable moving on from one of their goaltenders.

Oilers Searching For Goaltending Help

It is no secret that the Edmonton Oilers are looking to bolster their goaltending position. Stuart Skinner, Calvin Pickard, and Jack Campbell have not gotten the job done so far.

The Oilers were hopeful with a stint in the AHL that Jack Campbell would return to his previous form. However, as of late, he has only gotten worse.



Due to this massive downfall from Campbell and the lack of success from the Oilers' two remaining NHL goaltenders a trade is needed. Today an NHL insider suggested that Boston could be the perfect partner.

Insider Reveals Bruins Could Trade Top Goalie To Oilers

According to a conversation between Oilers reporter Jason Gregor and Bruins reporter Joe Haggerty, the Edmonton Oilers could explore the Boston Bruins goalie tandem for a solution.

The Bruins could be more likely to trade Jeremy Swayman or Linus Ullmark after the breakout AHL campaign from young goaltender Brandon Bussi.



The Oilers have reportedly been searching the market for goaltending. While they likely cannot wait until the offseason for an upgrade the progress in talks with Boston could make it so the Oilers only go after a stop gap.
