The Winnipeg Jets are off to a solid start in 2023, with a 4-3-1 record having them firmly in third place in the Central Division, but now, it appears they're making one major change to their power play.

Rising star

According to a report, the team have now elevated rising star Cole Perfetti to the top-line of their power play, joining Connor, Morrissey, Iafallo and Scheifele.

Looks like a switch-up on the #NHLJets power play.

Perfetti joins Scheifele, Connor, Iafallo, and Morrissey.

Ehlers with Namestnikov, Pionk, Niederreiter, and Schmidt.

This will see veteran forward Nik Ehlers demoted to the second unit alongside Pionk, Schmidt, Niederreiter and Namestnikov as they look to balance out this talented group.

A great start

In 8 games this season, Perfetti has one goal and four points, with the 21-year old looking to step in and provide help after the team lost Pierre-Luc Dubois this summer, and a move to the top line could certainly help that.

The Jets have plenty of talent, and after winning three of their last four games, they're showing that they can once again be a genuine threat in the playoffs, and if Perfetti can step up his production, this will be a very dangerous team indeed in 2023-24.
