An NHL veteran and former Winnipeg Jet has signed in Europe to continue his hockey career.

Former Winnipeg Jets defenseman Nathan Beaulieu has announced today that he was signing with EHC Kloten in the Swiss League.

Kloten signs defender Nathan Beaulieu until the end of the season.


The 30-year-old Canadian played 52 games in the NHL (Anaheim Ducks) and 4 in the AHL (San Diego Gulls) last season. He recorded one goal and four assists.


Beaulieu will take his veteran experience overseas where he will play with Montreal Canadiens first-round pick David Reinbacher.
