The Winnipeg Jets head coach Rick Bowness shared an update on Mark Scheifele's health ahead of tonight's game against the Boston Bruins.

Bowness Releases Update on Scheifele

Yesterday, before the Jets got on the ice for a practice session, it was reported that Mark Scheifele was spotted practicing with a non-contact jersey.

Bowness shared an update on the player, confirming he won't play tonight:

"He said he felt good today so he'll have another light skate tomorrow. He's still a few days away at least. So he's not playing tomorrow. He'll probably skate again Tuesday when we go to Toronto and we'll go from there. But he's missed ten days now and it was just a light skate today so we'll see."

The Jets' next game will be against the Maple Leafs on the 24th and we should have an update announcing his status by then.
