Good news Winnipeg Jets Fans!

Gabriel Vilardi is set return to the Winnipeg Jets lineup. Vilardi, who had been sidelined since October 17 due to a sprained MCL sustained against the Los Angeles Kings, was acquired in a trade this off-season to be a key figure in the Jets' lineup.

The Winnipeg Jets acquired Gabriel Vilardi in a significant trade that involved sending Pierre-Luc Dubois to the Los Angeles Kings. This deal was structured as a "sign-and-trade," where Dubois signed an eight-year contract with an annual average value (AAV) of $8.5 million, before being traded to the Kings. In return, the Jets received Gabriel Vilardi, Alex Iafallo, Rasmus Kupari, and a second-round pick in the 2024 Draft.

Following this trade, the Winnipeg Jets signed Gabriel Vilardi to a two-year contract worth $6.875 million. This move was seen as a key part of the Jets' re-tooling phase, securing a promising player in Vilardi, who had previously registered 41 goals and 37 assists over 152 games.

How excited are you to see him back in the lineup?
