Bruce Boudreau is becoming a well-liked voice for the NHL since he left his position as head coach of the Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks have skyrocketed to success since his leaving, though no one is blaming Boudreau for their failings.
Recently, Boudreau revealed a story of how Canucks management was meddling in the development of star defenseman Quinn Hughes, wanting Boudreau to play him at Center instead of Defense.
Hughes and the Canucks are having an incredible year this season. They sit near the top of the Western Conference and on top of the Pacific Division. Hughes, on the other hand, is also having a stellar year. He has 51 points in 42 games played so far this season, on pace for over 100 points as a defenseman, which is incredible.
