The Toronto Maple Leafs have made a switch to their goal song after just a one-game stint.

The Toronto Maple Leafs debuted a new goal song tonight. Many thought this was not out of the blue as the Maple Leafs had said they would rotate the song throughout the season based on opponent. However, new information has confirmed that the switch is now permanent away from the previous song.
Nick Alberga, host of Leafs Morning Take reported on X tonight that the Leafs will not be using the Kid Kudi song anymore after the team received complaints.
Don't expect to hear «Pursuit of Happiness» as the goal song for #LeafsForever games anymore. Told they won't be using it any longer this season.

Also, «Dup Dup,» tonight's anthem, will be part of the goal song rotation moving forward.
The Maple Leafs will now move forward with Dup Dup as the goal song until they decide to unveil one of the other planned songs. The Maple Leafs fans have been begging for a new goal song and now they are getting two within a week.
Hopefully for Maple Leafs fans they get used to the new song as it seems as though the Maple Leafs are ready to score goals in bunches in 2023-24.
