Last night during a fight a new clip showed that Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk got three cheapshot punches in on Connor McDavid to the head.

The Edmonton Oilers came out flying last night and ended up taking their first win in the Stanley Cup Finals. During the game, the Panthers were looking to get momentum back as a brawl began. In the fight, many fans caught a disgusting act by Matthew Tkachuk where he punched Connor McDavid in the head multiple times while putting him in a headlock.
This is why nobody respects this clown!

The fight led to major discourse online surrounding Matthew Tkachuk and his antics in this series and beyond.
That's why he's not liked by most fans. I can't stand him he's one of the biggest cowards to ever play this game.
its hockey my guy....everyone has a problem when its the great and wonderful and oh so powerful mcjesus. give it a rest, fighting is a part of hockey
Despite the backlash he faced Matthew Tkachuk would not be penalized in the game for punching Connor McDavid. Even with this adversity Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers were able to fight back in a major way and keep the series going.
THE EXTRA POINT IS GOOD
With the Edmonton Oilers trailing in the series 3-1 they don't really have time to plan out any revenge on Matthew Tkachuk for punching Connor McDavid. It will be interesting to see if the Oilers get another lead like they had last night if they try to stand up to Matthew Tkachuk.
