Today news has come down that Edmonton Oilers forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins missed today's practice due to an unknown illness ahead of Game 7.

The Stanley Cup Finals are coming down to a winner takes all Game 7. The series comes down to this game after the Edmonton Oilers came roaring back from a 3-0 deficit in the series. Now reports are confirming that they could be missing a big piece for the definitive Game 7 as Ryan Nugent-Hopkins was absent from practice today.

Replacing him at practice was Evander Kane who has also been out of the lineup due to injury. This hopefully means the Oilers expect Ryan Nugent-Hopkins back or the team would've put someone not injured in his place to build chemistry.

After practice head coach of the Edmonton Oilers Kris Knoblauch took the podium and was asked about Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. He confirmed that the forward should be good to go for tomorrow's Game 7.
