Sam Gagner Put On A Show In His First Game Back

Sam Gagner got his first opportunity to play an NHL game this season and showed that he still has what it takes to play.

Many Oilers fans were excited for his return. He was expected to bring a big boost to the bottom half of the Oilers lineup. What he was able to do in his first game back was shocking to everyone even those who expected a lot from him.

Sam Gagner made his much-anticipated return debut with the Edmonton Oilers. His third stint with the team and first game with them since 2020. He showed flashes of his prime self tonight and put on a show. Gagner ended the game with 2 goals in 13 minutes of ice time.

The Oilers would end up losing the game 4-3 but the Oilers finally showed some fight and progress. They need to get things back on track quickly if they are going to make a playoff run this season.
